Our Love Story

Sam and Gizmo met the modern way, by swiping right on Tinder in 2018. Their first date was at a Sushi restaurant in Denver followed by a Star Wars movie that night. Only a couple months later Gizmo gifted Sam the most precious gift in the whole world, a puppy, named Butter. Butter became best friends with Sam's cat, Jimi, and the four of them bought their first home and moved in together within a year.

Their favorite memories together include traveling to different countries, Butter's graduation from Puppy Class, staying in a haunted room at the Stanley Hotel, our first Christmas together, and Butter's first road trip with us.

Sam and Gizmo's proposal was a bit unique as it ended up being a post-proposal. The two decided to secure their union one morning in the mountains during a picnic, with Butter as their witness. Shortly after Sam surprised Gizmo with a ring, embedded in the pages of a book, and they saved up for Sam's after a few months. They decided they wanted to share their love with friends and family in a more traditional way in their favorite city, doing their favorite thing, traveling!
